Solian Microsystems is the freelance practice of Nick, a senior systems administrator based in Ajax, Ontario. Day to day, I work within a small IT team responsible for the complete infrastructure of a multi-site organization and its related companies — the same discipline I bring to freelance engagements.
That means you're not dealing with an account manager relaying notes to a technician. You talk directly to the person doing the work, get a straight answer about what's wrong and what it will take to fix, and a plan that fits how your business actually operates.
Solian started years ago in Windsor-Essex as a small IT collective. The location has changed; the approach hasn't: diagnose honestly, fix what needs fixing, and leave things more maintainable than we found them.
